Today, Rice Electric operates out of a full service electro-mechanical repair facility in Eighty-Four PA.
JOB SUMMARY
Individuals will perform rewinds, repairs, assembly, and testing to all types of industrial AC and DC equipment including but not limited to; stators, rotors, armatures, fields and interpoles. Individuals in this position will be expected to work with a high degree of a quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Tasks may extend to the operation of shop equipment, making parts, equipment disassembly, inspection, cleaning, painting, evaluation, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ability to continuously learn and adapt to daily challenges is of the utmost importance for individuals looking to succeed in this role.
SKILLS NEEDED
Excellent attention to detail
Use of hand tools
Knowledge of electrical rewinds
Equipment disassembly
Inspect, clean, paint and evaluate equipment
Field removal, installation, and alignments
QUALIFICATIONS
Availability for overtime and emergency work
Ability to operate: fork lift, overhead crane, testing equipment, and hand tools
Valid drivers license
